A made-up research on the made-up villages conducted using made-up and undefined methodology.
The word „village” is here a tentative (in terms of possible associations connected with the word) starting point: the village turns out to be an isolated realm, studied by an invisible researcher, whose reality is defined by the inhabitants’ fixations.
Project done in the Laboratory for Literature Interpretation of Grzegorz Hańderek, PhD., in 2014—2015.
The films were displayed at at the following exhibitions and festivals: Late Polishness. Forms of national identity after 1989 CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, 2017, Keep Both Feet on the Ground (BWA Katowice, BWA Tarnow, 2015), Mlode Wilki 2014 festival and Zmyślenie (CCA Kronika, Bytom) 2015.
Villages won the main prize at Przyplyw contest, Art Main Station, Wroclaw 2016.
The audio plays were released on a cassette by BDTA label, with patronage of art galleries: CCA Kronika and BWA Katowice.
In 2018, the piece was sold to the collection of CCA Ujazdowski Castle.
